Schools of Thought - The schools of thought are approaches to medicine but not real factions with leaders or acknowledged members.

• Galenists, also called Elementalists, revere ancient knowledge from the Greeks & Romans. They seek to prove the validity of this knowledge.
• Paraclesians, also called Alchemists, attack notions from antiquity such as the 4 elements. They search for alchemical explanations of disease.
• Vesalians, also called Vivisectionists, learn medicine by examining human corpses. They are not popular.
