• Keepers of the Sacred Fire - Work to preserve traditional cultures & smuggle people to Nija Pand Horizon Realm to relive the past.
• Solitaries - More of a philosophy. Individuals who live separated from the modern world & encourage others to do the same. Shun technology.
• Ghost Wheel Society - Modern techno shamans. Oppose Technocracy directly & work to build relationships with techno spirits. Unpopular among Dreamspeakers. Revised Edition states this group was associated with city & agricultural spirits before the Industrial Revolution.
• Red Spears - Extremists who don’t recognize the Council of Nine & fight against modern society with actual violence. A real problem for the Dreamspeakers.
• 4 Winds - Spend their time in the Umbra & learn much about it. Often become spirits.
• Baruti - Historians & story tellers. Travel & teach many people. Revised Edition gives them an Umbral library where much knowledge is stored.
• Contraries - Opposite people who want to challenge preconceptions.

Trad Book: Dreamspeakers Revised - Spirit Smiths are new. They were blacksmiths in ancient times. They now make unique, spirit awakened items. They look for helpful spirits to house in modern objects to benefit a community.

In Revised Edition, Independents are an internal faction of Dreamspeakers who were taught magic by Umbral spirits. This connects well with my idea that Umbrood look to mages to be their link with humanity & the physical world. The only way these spirit-trained mages would really become Dreamspeakers is if the spirits lead the mage to other Dreamspeakers after their training is complete. It makes sense to say the Dreamspeakers have a name for a group of umbral spirits that train mages & send them to the Dreamspeakers to be members.

Lore of the Traditions pg. 74 the 4 Winds no longer exists. Avatar Storm killed them off. Pg. 76 the Solitaries are not in the Dreamspeakers anymore. Pg. 78 Spirit Smiths merged into the Ghost Wheel Society.
