Marauder Groups

Book of Madness chapter 3 gives two groups:

Umbral Underground - A group dedicated to fighting the Wyrm, the Technocracy and static reality. The Butcher Street Regulars are a cabal within the Umbral Underground.
Bai Dai - A group of dangerous and very insane Marauders

Book of Madness Revised pg. 65 gives two groups that fight with each other:

Umbral Underground - They oppose the Technocracy but don't attack strongholds. They also cause riots and political upheaval among Sleeper nations. Three cabals:
- Butcher Street Regulars - Robert Davenport still heads this cabal. Mostly low-Quiet Marauders who coordinate the actions of other cabals.
- Men of Gotham - Present themselves as comic book super heroes. Some are loners while others form fusions. Operate in New York City, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Columbus & Chicago.
- Knights of St. Stephen - A large group whose members take the roles of heroes of previous eras. Knights, wizards, barbarians, etc.
Chaioth ha-Quadesh - The Bai Dai fell apart but a cabal of Marauders (Sitrin) organized the few survivors. Could be seen as the new incarnation of the Bai Dai. They attack large gatherings of people and kill as many as possible. Three cabals:
- Sitrin - Their logo features a sword and swastika. A militant and heavily armed group that believes it is in an apocalyptic struggle at God's urging. They direct the other cabals of the Chaioth ha-Quadesh.
- P'o Chun - "Broken Army Star". Large band of Chinese bandits, mostly former military. They want to return China to its mythic past.
- Team 23 - Muscular Marauders who dress & behave like commandos. They use vulgar technomagic. They prefer large modern weapons and focus on killing Sleepers. A joke on multi player video games.
