The Wu Lung are governed by the Dragon Emperor, the Phoenix Empress and the Tiger General (Tiger Lord Wizard). The Dragon Emperor is said to be 1,000 years old. The Phoenix Empress has reincarnated in her daughter’s body more than 300 times (every 108 years). The Tiger General is head of war and the leader of the Magical Bureaucracy. The other 8 positions in the Magical Bureaucracy are: Education, Tradition, Treasure, Law, Records, Provisions, Intelligence, Religion.

Hall of 7 Clouds is their Horizon Realm.

Wu Lung fall into one of 3 schools:

• Dragon School - Judges, perform rituals for spirits and Celestial Bureaucracy. They are the most conservative and plot revenge against enemies. This school polices the ranks of the Wu Lung.
• Tiger School - Generals. Strategists and soldiers. Practical sorcerers.
• Phoenix School - Started in 1800s. Show mercy & reward Wu Lung mages. Practice healing magic. Put more emphasis on lesser, local gods.

Wu Lung teach the mage’s Avatar is one of that mage’s ancestor spirits.

Revised Edition stated the Wu Lung joined the Akashic Brotherhood.

Lore of the Traditions states the Wu Lung divided 3 ways. Some joined the Akashic Brotherhood, some joined the Order of Hermes & some joined the Disparate Alliance.
